Deanna Jean Matlock, Eastman, Wisconsin, January 22, 2019.

Deanna Jean Matlock, 72, of Eastman, Wisconsin died January 22, 2019 at her home in Eastman, Wisconsin.  She was born December 3, 1946 to Leroy and Freda (Stanford) Boyles in Salem, Illinois.

Deanna was united in marriage with Charles Wesley Matlock on December 17, 1981 in Ottawa, Illinois. To this union Charlie brought his children, Kent, Kim, Roy, Charles Jr. and Opal. Deanna worked for Badgeaminit in Illinois, as a waitress at a truck stop in Illinois and after moving to Wisconsin, Deanna worked as a shift manager at McDonalds in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. In her spare time, Deanna enjoyed doing puzzles, reading, sewing, growing houseplants, feeding the birds, gardening with Charlie and spending time with her family.

Deanna is survived by her husband, Charles of Eastman, Wisconsin; children, Matthew Heinzeroth of Illinois and Crystal Thomas of Illinois; step-children, Kent (Jeannie Ernst of DeSoto, Wisconsin, Kim Anderson from Illinois, Roy Matlock of Richland Center, Wisconsin, Charles Matlock Jr. of Illinois and Opal (Peter) Hostert of DeSoto, Wisconsin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Boyles and Freda Stanford; brother, Roy Boyles; sister, Gina Mae Smith; son, Bill Heinzeroth; step-sister, Evie Lage; step-brother, George (Corky) Smith Jr.; and one granddaughter, Karmen Mercer.

Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at the Hungry House in Prairie Du Chien, WI from 5-7 pm.
