Anne M. Wagner, 98, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Orchard Manor in Lancaster, Wisconsin. Anne was born May 16, 1922 to Arnold and Anna Mary (Mumm) Breuer in Glen Haven, Wisconsin. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Glen Haven.
Anne was united in marriage with Anthony H. Wagner on October 9, 1940 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Glen Haven. Twelve children were born to this union. Anne enjoyed quilting, gardening, visiting, polka dancing, playing cards, traveling, boating and ice skating. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Altar Guild in Glen Haven.
Surviving Anne are her children, Richard (Delores) Wagner of Potosi, Carole (Bob) Sturmer of Bloomington, Tim Wagner of Bloomington, Thomas (Diane) Wagner of McFarland, Susan (Nick) Gotto of Bagley, Charles (Marilyn) Wagner of Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, Liz (Greg Fangel) Wagner of Tofte, Minnesota, Roger (Julie) Wagner of Onalaska, Dennis Wagner of Prairie du Chien, Barb (Jeff) Thornton of Bagley and Donnie Wagner of Bloomington; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Wagner on February 18, 1984; her son, Mark; two grandsons, Bill Thornton and Joshua Gotto; five brothers, Leo, Roland, Alphonse, Fritz and Leonard Breuer; and two sisters, Pauline Crubel and Sister Solano Breuer.
A Private Family Service will be held.
