Eugene “Jug” Richard Drallmeier, Hales Corners, Wisconsin, June 10, 2024

Eugene “Jug” Richard Drallmeier, 89 of Hales Corners, Wisconsin passed away Monday, June 10, 2024 at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born April 14, 1935 to Ralph and Ione (Scarff) Drallmeier in McGregor, Iowa. He attended McGregor schools.

Eugene proudly joined and served in the United States Marines from July 6, 1953 to July 5, 1955. He was stationed in Korea. On September 17, 1955 Eugene was united in marriage with Marlene “Molly” Joyce Emerson in McGregor, Iowa. Five children were born to this union.  Throughout the years Eugene drove semi for Ribstone Silos, Plover Wi. and Glodowski Trucking, Rosholt. W. He enjoyed watching old western shows on tv, attending his grandchildren’s events and traveling.

Surviving Eugene are his children, Randy (Tami) Drallmeier of Mosinee, Wisconsin, Lori Zarneke of Hales Corners, Wisconsin, Sheri (Doug) Johnson of Union Grove, Wisconsin and Ron (Theresa) Drallmeier of Plainfield, Wisconsin, Cindy Drallmeier of Stetsonville, Wisconsin; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-Seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Dixie Drallmeier of Snowflake, Arizona and Georgianna Kahl of Latham, New York; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Molly; one son, Richard Drallmeier; great-granddaughter, Talia Drallmeier; parents, Ralph and Ione Drallmeier; brothers, Keith and Gary Drallmeier; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Darwin and Dian Emerson.

A Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.

Luncheon will be served following the Service at the Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home.

Graveside Service with Military Rites will be at 2:30 pm on Saturday June 29, 2024 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in McGregor, Iowa.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Synergy Homecare in Greenfield, Wisconsin and VA Veterans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin is assisting the family with services.
