Dollie Trayer, 93, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Lancaster, Wisconsin where she resided for fourteen years.
Dollie was born in Wyalusing Township on May 22, 1924 to Caleb and Violet (Bohinger) Koecke. She married John F. Trayer on March 31, 1947 in Prairie du Chien, where they made their home. She was a loving caregiver to her mother, husband and son for many years. Dollie was a prayer warrior and loved the Lord, while enjoying music and playing piano, her flowers, rides in the country, garage sales and loved being with her grandchildren.
Those left to honor her memory are her daughter, Yvonne (Vonnie) Trumm of Potosi, Wisconsin; son, Bruce Trayer of Whitehall, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Amy (Tom) Ruegsegger, Michael (Maria) Trumm, Kristy (Cort) Stephenson, John (Laura) Trumm and Lacey (Nick) Wagner; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Beverly Koecke and nieces and nephews.
Dollie was preceded in death by her parents, Caleb and Violet Koecke; husband, John F. Trayer; three brothers, Harry, Calvin and Paul Koecke; sister, Mercedes; and one son-in-law, Roger Trumm.
A Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
