Linda Dianne Kurth, Monona, Iowa, May 31, 2017

Linda Dianne (Stevenson) Kurth, 67, of Monona, Iowa died, Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Northgate Care Center, Waukon, Iowa. Linda was born March 25, 1950 to Ramona (Bentien) Christofferson and Gaylord Stevenson at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, Iowa. Linda graduated from MFL High School with the Class of 1968.

Linda was united in marriage with Eldon Kurth Jr. on May 25, 1968 at the United Methodist Church in Monona, Iowa. One daughter was born to this union. Linda was a long time member of the Home Garden Club in Gunder, Iowa where she had served as President. While living in the Gunder area she was a member of the Marion Church. Linda served as President of the ALCW, as well as Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher. Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Linda is survived by her husband, Eldon Jr. of forty-nine years; one daughter, Kathy Jo (Ivy) Williams of Monona, Iowa; two grandchildren, Brittany (Kyle) Williams of McGregor, Iowa and Keefe (Fiancé, Emma Schiller) Williams of Elk Run Heights, Iowa; one great-grandchild, Liliana Kalani Williams; two brothers, Bill (Joyce) Christofferson and Tim (Linda) Christofferson; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Jacque (Jake) Messler.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Leo Christofferson; sister, Melon Horns; brother-in-law, Myron Horns; nephew, Wade Christofferson; and grandparents, Lindford and Thelma Bentien.

Visitation will be 3-6 pm, Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Leonard- Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa, and one hour before services at the church on Monday.

Funeral Services will 11:00 am on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Living Faith United Methodist Parish, Monona, Iowa with Rev. Kevin Smith as the Officiant.

Burial will be at a later date.
