Geneva Ione (Dailey) Perry, 81, of West Union, Iowa formerly of Waterloo, Iowa died Friday, March 20, 2026, at the Good Samaritan Home, West Union, Iowa. She was born April 4, 1944 to Henry and Ella (Carr) Dailey Sr. in Waterloo, Iowa. Her parents were later divorced, and she was also raised by her stepfather, Robert Johnson. She graduated from West High School in Waterloo, Iowa.
Geneva was united in marriage to Eugene Perry on January 1, 1984. She was the head housekeeper at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union, Iowa. Geneva was a member of the Cross Fire Church in West Union. She was devoted Christian and friend.
Geneva survived with her stepchildren, Ruth Hilliard, James (Carol) Perry, John Perry, Esther (Pat) Arellano, Lois (Bob) Munoz and Mark (friend-Grace) Perry; her sisters, Pat Crowe and Bobbie (Mike) Butler and many nieces and nephews.
Geneva was preceded in death by her husband Eugene Perry, her parents, brother, Henry Dailey and a sister, Belinda K Johnson Graves, her brothers-in-law Gerald Graves and Jack Crowe and sister-in-law Pauline Dailey.
Visitation will be held on July 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 at the Crossfire Church in West Union, IA and services will be held July 11, 2026 at 10:00 with burial after. Lunch will be at the church following the burial.
Memorials in Geneva’s honor may be made to the Cross Fire Church, West Union.
